QwikSweep Gmail Data Deletion

Last updated

June 21, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of Gmail-derived data used by QwikSweep and how that differs from disconnecting a Gmail inbox.

This page describes the current deletion path as of June 21, 2026. Workspace admins can now remove Gmail-derived data from QwikSweep through the settings workflow.

Disconnecting Gmail vs deleting stored data

Disconnecting Gmail stops the connected inbox workflow from continuing in the app, but it does not automatically delete previously stored Gmail-derived records unless a separate self-serve deletion action is completed.

Deleting Gmail-derived data means removing the stored operational records associated with the connected Gmail workflow, including inbox-derived enquiry history needed to run the product.

If no deletion request is made, QwikSweep may continue to retain Gmail-derived operational history for the connected workspace where that history is needed to support enquiry context, classification accuracy, and draft quality.

How to delete Gmail-derived data

Workspace admins can delete Gmail-derived data from the Gmail settings workflow inside QwikSweep.

Use the `Delete Gmail data` action in Gmail settings when you want QwikSweep's stored Gmail-derived records removed for that workspace.

What to expect

The self-serve delete action removes the relevant stored Gmail workflow records from QwikSweep for that workspace.

If you only want the inbox workflow paused, request a disconnect instead of deletion.

Current limitation

Deleting Gmail-derived data removes the stored Gmail workflow records from QwikSweep, but it does not delete the original emails from Gmail itself.
